- Phones. There is a phone in the Gum Tree Heaven Spa Cabin for incoming & local calls, phone number (02) 4938 8346. Mobile phone reception is usually OK. There is a Public phone in the Games Room in the Central Resort Area.
- All cabins are totally non smoking.
- Bring food supplies as closest general store is at Vacy open 7 days a week from 7am till 5pm. Supermarkets (Coles & Woolworths) at Greenhills & Maitland. Small IGA at Paterson (closes Sat after 12noon and Sunday)
- There are coffee plungers, capsule coffee machines (ALDI) in Gum Tree Heaven & Billabong please bring own filter coffee or capsules.
- All linen and towels supplied. Bring beach towels for spa and pool.
- All beds have electric blankets in winter.
- There are reverse cycle air conditioners in both cabins.
- In winter slow combustion wood fires may be used. Wood is provided. Wood is expensive so please do not waste.
- Hairdryers are provided plus complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner.
- No room service is available. All cabins are un-hosted (no reception), self catering cabins.
- Tennis court is available, please bring soft soled shoes and rackets if professionals. Book time required on board at court.
- The closest chemist is in Paterson 15 minutes drive, bring all medication that you may need.
- No domestic animals allowed.
- Gas BBQ's are provided, bring meat.
- The weather may be warm in the day but cool at night even in summer, bring warm clothes.
- The road up the mountain is tar sealed and although steep and narrow quite safe for all cars and bikes.
- Trail bikes may not be ridden in the resort. There are great mountain bike rides but no bikes are provided. Bring your own.
- Slow speeds apply in the resort. All speed signs must be adhered to.
- Guests will be responsible for any excessive damage or theft to the cabins, Community Property or Resort Property.
- Access to other cabins without invitation is not permitted as these are private properties.
- Noise must be kept to a minimum and cease at 10pm.
- You may swim in the pool or lagoon.
- You can catch yabbies in the dams.
- The wallabies usually visit daily and a possum visits some nights. Please don’t feed the possum especially on the table – you will see where he tried to eat the timber. The National parks discourage feeding any native animal or bird.
- All water is filtered at the cabins, no need to bring drinking water.
- Please conserve water as tank water is precious & expensive in dry times.
